Martin Luther King March and Celebration Goes Virtual and Features Keynote from Reverend Al Sharpton
Families, friends, and community organizations from Loudoun County and all over the world are invited to come together virtually on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 12 p.m. Eastern Time for the annual celebration honoring the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The theme of this year’s 30th anniversary celebration is EQUALITY ABOVE ALL Overcoming Injustices and Inequities. This special 30th Anniversary virtual program will include musical performances, special tribute presentations, and inspirational messages from members of the community, highlighted by brief video messages from local, state and national leaders. Speakers for the 2021 Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration include a keynote address from Reverend Al Sharpton with featured United State Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine, Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring and other special guest speakers.
